Independent Providers and Prescribing Authority
The clinicians who review your intake and prescribe are independent licensed healthcare providers who practice through the Asher Med provider network. They — not Uplevel Bio — hold sole authority over all medical decisions, including whether to prescribe, what to prescribe, dosing, contraindication review, and ongoing monitoring. These decisions are based on their independent clinical judgment, your health history, your intake responses, and applicable law.
Uplevel Bio does not influence, override, or guarantee any prescribing decision, and we do not use algorithms to replace clinician judgment.
Not Everyone Qualifies for Treatment
Submitting an intake or placing an order is a request for clinical evaluation, not a guarantee of treatment. Whether a treatment is approved depends on the independent provider's assessment. If a provider determines that a treatment is not appropriate for you, no prescription will be issued, and the corresponding charge is refunded in accordance with our Terms.
Compounded Medications and FDA Status
Compounded medications referenced on this website are not FDA-approved. FDA approval applies only to mass-produced commercial drug products, not to individualized compounded formulations prepared by state-licensed 503A pharmacies. Compounded medications are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and require a valid prescription. The safety of these medications comes from clinician oversight and pharmacy quality standards, not from FDA listing.
Diagnostics and Laboratory Testing
Lab panels ordered through Uplevel Bio are performed by independent third-party laboratories (such as Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp). Biomarker descriptions and reference information on our diagnostics pages are educational and are not a diagnosis.
Lab results are reviewed by a licensed clinician, but a single result or panel is not, on its own, a diagnosis of any condition, nor a recommendation for or against any specific treatment.
