Provider Network

The clinicians who review your intake and prescribe your protocol practice through the Asher Med provider network — an independent group of licensed medical providers who serve Uplevel Bio patients under their own licenses and clinical judgment.
Uplevel Bio does not employ these providers. They are not our medical directors. They practice independently. Medical decisions — including whether to prescribe, what to prescribe, and how to monitor you — are made solely by the treating provider based on their independent clinical judgment.
How the network works
When you complete your intake, the Asher Med network assigns your record to a clinician who is:
- Licensed in your state
- Trained in the protocol you are seeking
- Available to review within our target intake-to-review window (typically 24–48 hours)
The same clinician remains on your file for follow-ups, dose adjustments, and ongoing questions where possible, so that the provider making decisions about your care has continuity of your history.
Verify your clinician
Every clinician who prescribes through the Uplevel Bio platform holds an active state license and a National Provider Identifier (NPI). You can verify any clinician's NPI at the CMS registry: https://npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov/
You can request the name, NPI, and state license number of the clinician assigned to you at any time by messaging your care team through the platform.

Corporate practice of medicine
Because Uplevel Bio is not a licensed medical practice, we do not employ clinicians, do not direct clinical care, and do not stand between you and your prescriber. The Asher Med provider network handles credentialing, licensing, quality assurance, and clinical governance. Uplevel Bio provides the technology, the intake experience, and the coordination with pharmacies and labs.
This structure — a technology platform in front of an independent physician group — is how modern telehealth complies with state corporate-practice-of-medicine (CPOM) rules. It's why we cannot legally override a prescribing decision made by your clinician.
